My bed may be a bit shorter than some of yours, but now it's much stiffer.

I'm inexperienced offroading but had heard of pins bending when used to tow out someone stuck. Thats why I bought the reciever D Ring shackle. My knowledge is all from the internet though sooooo.... Lots to learn first hand from people I know to be experienced and not just someone experienced on the internet. Thats one of the many reasons I'm excited to go to Barnwell this weekend! Front tow hook is Factory TRD OR tow hook on one side and Tie down on the other side.

They can bend but that's the same pin holding the D ring shackle in the receiver. You will have fun and learn some shit along the way for the next time. We can give you some tips for driving. One of us probably myself or Joe will show what not to do and what you can't make it up, but we have fun regardless.

I fully expect to learn from fellow TW members who know what the vehicle is capable of! I'm a fast learner and know how to listen to a vehicle. As for the dringshackle, I could be wrong but it seems like it could spread the weight of the strap better than just using the pin. Regardless if someone is pulling me out from being stuck I'll let them choose how we hook up since they are in as much risk if not more than myself. If they recommend something stupid I'll get another opinion or someone else to help me. It's all about safety and everyone leaving in one pc from a great time and experience.

It very well could turn into that! Last wedding my wife were at we played a drinking game each time the bride or groom said 'eternal love'. It was a long night to say the least and had to uber home.:bananadance:
