Does no one drive their auto in manual mode? Forget all about the weird tranny... shift yourself.
Even if the tranny wasn't all over the place i'd still drive in "manual"

I have done that a few times. But I'm not sure about how it may affect the truck? Prob won't do anything but I get the feeling if it's constantly used something may break. Have you had any problems

I live in Maine and there's tons of rolling hills out where I am. Manual mode in combination with ECT work great. I also use it when its really cold out, allows me to keeps the revs some high to warm the truck up quickly.

Well you know we constantly use Drive and that doesn't seem to break anything. Why would using Manual do it?

JBL speakers are different and the internal wiring is completely different than non-JBL units

JBL Speakers probably still have dinky ass magnets on the back of them too

Good to know. I was curious as to model numbers? It'd be interesting to see where in the lineup the units used in my truck stand relative to other options.

I'm not complaining, I do like the factory JBL setup. More a matter of curiosity.

It's not the size of the magnet, it's the power of the pushing & pulling! :D

I drove my 3rd gen to work.
I had the heated seat to max, even though it wasn't cold out.
    Exciting stuff.

Love em in motorcycles, but the bags are tiny for that application 2oz in rear and 1oz in front. Smooth as glass and stays that way til tires are dead. Bet it would be better than metal weights on a truck due to mud/snow buildup that changes over time...

Why not just purchase a manual then? Serious question, if you can give me the details/reasoning.

Silly answer. I was hopping for Lexicon to answer that question especially since you thought something would eventually break if you manually used it majority if the time
