I really get a kick out of seeing new posts here and reading about how much it has helped others gain a little bit of clutter control in the cabs of their trucks. Please keep posting your pictures and of course letting us know about how you added your own personal twist to the modification. Wishing you all a happy new year with your loved ones and plenty of fun and trouble free miles in your Tacoma's.

Got mine done today..very happy with it. Pics are bad but you get the idea. I went with a Mob Armor cradle...little pricey but solid as hell...plus it matched the Mob Armor ipad holder in my dash.

Scored one of these suction cup mounts so I can roll with all my RAM stuff in the car or the wife's RAV4 without having to mod those 2 with permanent mount. Neither of them have simple place like in the truck...................

Pro tip: use a dab of loctite on the bolt, mine has come loose.

If anyone has an extra M6 50mm laying around taking up soooo much free space. I'd be very thankful.

Much prefer the permanent ball mount in the truck but the suction cup mount is cool to have so my setups for fon, gps & gopro can go in both my other rides or in any vehicle I go somewhere in....like the rent van when we travel. Ordered another Xgrip so the most used truck setup can stay there undisturbed when using other pieces in other vehicles.

Make sure the xgrip is the correct size.

Yeah. Says it's a tight fit. But the "large" X grip reviews say it's too loose for iPhone 6 Plus.

I went with the small mob armor for my 5s, it's pricey. I like how it cradles the phone.

Now that I'm finally getting the M8 50mm bolt I'm going to try to rig up my current suction up phone holder. If that doesn't work I'll be buying these RAM.
Been 5 years now and it'll finally time to add a phone mount rather than sticking it between my seat and console.

    Edit: M6
