Did you need the spacers to prevent rubbing or did you want them for looks?

And how do those tires ride? Smooth ? Stiff? Crazy drop in mpgs?

The spacers were just for looks - I liked the wider stance.
I love the tires. These are my third set - I had 2 sets of the original KOs on my old 4 Runner. Hard to say with mpgs, I had them put on at the dealer.

Your ride is looking great! Love all the mods so far!!! On the OEM roof rack, are there small areas that may have a slight gap between the body of your ride and that plastic surround? Mine didn't come installed from the factory but I installed myself. Looks great but there are a few small gaps to note and wasn't sure if this was an issue or not. Thoughts?

Not really sure. I replaced my factory rack with a Prinsu months ago and don't remember if I had those gaps or not.

Jhill7 - look on the first page of this thread, towards the bottom, I explain how I did the wheels … plastidip + glossifier. It's pretty easy.

Why did you decide to go with derp wheels instead of buying aftermarket black wheels? Style of driving? My truck is constantly getting dirty so I am not sure if plastidip would hold up. I just really can't decide if I want to derp, powder coat or fork up the cash for aftermarket. Looks really good btw

@JH503 - Thanks for the compliment! I derped them shortly after buying the truck, so finances played a part in not buying aftermarket (or the TRD Pro) wheels. Derping is an easy inexpensive way to "try-out" black wheels. I have had them coated for over a year now and there are no signs of peeling. I can't say I do any serious off-roading, but I do drive on the beach regularly in deep sand as well as on a hunting lease (deep rutted fire roads and occasionally a lot of standing water). If and when they do starting peeling, I will most likely have them powder coated.

Great looking truck! Mine just arrived today. Are you happy with AVS bug shield and SCOSHE Mag Mount? What about charging on the Qi pad w/ a LifeProof case on my phone? Have you found a solution for that? Thanks!

Thanks, man. I'm excited. Thanks for the feedback. I understand about the Qi pad. Take care.
