Where is the best place to get oem quality rebuild kit for a 3rz? Mine had a little over 400thousand miles on it. Would love to rebuild it and get 400 more. LCE has kits , but the gaskets and a few other components are from Taiwan. Is that something to be concerned about or is it all high quality?

I'm no help on your questions, but a competent parts department should be able to find that. Wait, I wonder if Toyota already has a part numbered rebuild kit? I'll try and find something.
Out of curiosity, what finally gave on your 3rz?

After a quick peek I didn't see anything already pieced together of all OEM parts. LCE is a solid company though, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a kit from them.

You can't get a rebuild kit from Toyota, have to buy everything separate. It would cost a fortune! It burnt a valve, took head off and had it fixed. Ran it about a year and it burnt another valve. I took the machine shops word that it was ready to bolt on and go. Didn't check valve clearances. When I removed engine checked the clearances, they were from. 004 to .013 . Not sure if it was due to a valve set to tight or an injector problem.

You can get a gasket kit from Toyota. They should have two kits, one for just the head, and one for block+head which is a superset of the first. These might not included the o-rings/grommets on the fuel rail side of the injectors or the plastic injector spacers. I have some pictures showing all the pieces of the head kit I got from Toyota when I put a new head on my 96 2RZ-FE if you can't get the info elsewhere.

Enter your VIN at www.toyotapartsdeal.com, then go to Engine/Fuel/Tool > Engine Overhaul Gasket Kit.
