try a toner if you want to trace it out.

I'm thinking its for some sort of feature not on yours. Probably just a factory wiring harness for all vehicles.
Kind of like how the OR and Pro have a brake booster and others dont
Wouldn't doubt the wiring is there for others as well.

Could be wrong just an idea.

Those leads look like connectors on my Yamaha outboard. I found it strange finding them there ,taped up. I'm not an EE but i do know electric.

Listen pal I got nothing to lie about, I Paid $41,600 Sticker was $44,450 all cash no financing no lease. Its called doing business with the same dealer for 15 years. 6 toyotas in that time frame.and I Paid $2495 for 7yr 150k mile warranty. Ask for invoice price...when they wont give it to you demand it. It will take 5-6 hours negotiating but, yes they do want to move the vehicles last days of the month.

I'm looking for an answer. Could be for more exterior lighting? Under hood light? Perfect location to put in a hood switch and a small led light to check fluids.

until you get a meter on it you won't know if it has power, and if it does I'd say use a toner to trace where it goes if its switched or not.
I'm still thinking its just a factory wiring harness for all vehicles and something would be there for a different model but not your pro.

I'll look under my hood tomorrow and see what's up. Think the wires you've shown are black and white which I think are ground points. Just terminated points...

Looks like just terminated ground points with environmental sleeves or splices to a ground. Wouldn't be worries. When u lift up on the bundle, are those wires going to the ground on the left in the picture?
