Everything circled is considered normal to be wet after driving in wet conditions or after being parked and sitting in rain.

@oneshort please read the recent posts and verify the wet areas are the same areas I've indicated. If not, please elaborate.

My problem is I don't have $4k for a Crawford performance long block with forged pistons and rods so I can push 500hp out of my STi...and new heads, valve train, turbo and tune which would probably be around $12k...

I'm thinking it's normal too.. my truck has water where OPs is and it has since brand new in 08.

Maybe the water on the sill is from someone shoe getting in or out? :notsure:

    Anyway, looks normal to me...

The water has to go somewhere. I'm sure it gets in the top of the door sill. From there it's funneled downward. I don't see a problem with this at all. If your carpet or seats were wet then I'd be concerned. Seems to me it's working as designed.

So by the door sill, you mean where it says TACOMA, and not the plastic? if so, that is normal. If you notice, there is weather stripping between the door sill, and the plastic panel covering the carpet. Water should not get past it. Can't tell if the panel is wet due to a footprint, or if that's how you find it after it rains.

Also, that water is most likely from falling rain, not water from the road. So I would not worry about it being saltwater. If in doubt, do a taste test!

EDIT: If the plastic panel is wet after it rains, then check the bottom of your door. If the interior door panel is wet from the bottom, then there is definitely water getting in somewhere.

Also, do you have a sunroof?
