Don't you hate stupid people doing stupid things too close to your new truck?

WTF is wrong with people... I see this all the time too. There must be something going on in their heads that this makes sense to them... no idea.

 

I actually think that THEY think that their car will get lonely if it's sitting all by itself out in a parking lot somewhere, and if they see one parked alone, they will put their car next to it to keep it company. Really. There are people that truly DO think like that.

Reminds me of a few months ago when I had to use a pool noodle around a bucket as a toilet when my bathroom was being fixed..

 

Had a nice lesson on this tonight. I pulled into a parking spot at a club I go to every couple of months. Saw 2 people I knew outside the door. One is not a terrible guy but just doesn't know when enough is enough and I've politely had to talk to him more than once about upsetting me. He also knows how anal I am with my truck.

I pull into a spot and quickly realize it isn't going to leave room on both sides of me for someone to enter their car. No problem. As I start backing out I hear a thud against the back of my truck. Mister Smart Guy walked up behind me and punched the right rear quarter.

I calmly put it in park, get out, walk to the rear where he's laughing on the right side and say "touch my truck again and I will fucking kill you slowly!" He is still laughing to which I add "try it again fucker, you got 3 steps on me and you best use them because I will strangle you with my bare hands!" He looked like he was about to piss his pants. I get back in and park in another spot. He then says "hey what's wrong?" at which I tell him I didn't drop 20 grand on a truck for him to punch it and his one free pass he just got is getting yanked if I see one scratch from his hand, if he says one more word, or gets within 10 feet of me again.

Fucking people!!!

 

Why I carry a ski mask and a baseball bat with me....sometimes I bring the .45 and duck tape.

Before I started working as a technician, I was a lot boy for sales. I was dropped off at port with another lot staff to bring back a brand new 2015 Passat and 2015 Touareg. So we're both driving through the city, following the speed limit and I'm watching behind me. A guy in a contractor's company van was tailgating the Toureg, and then swerved and cut them off (single lane street). So now he's between me in the Passat, and the Touareg. We roll into a city street where the speed limit is 30km/h, and he's tailgating and honking at me because I'm following the speed limit. Mind you, the cop shop's half a block away from where we were at this point. I hit a red light, and stop. The guy proceeds to climb the sidewalk, almost sideswipe the car and pushes his way in front of me. obviously, I honk at him. He gets out of his van, challenges me to a fight. I give him the finger, and he scoffs and goes back into the van and drives off after the light turns green. I took a picture of his plate, called his company, reported him. I got a call the next day and he was fired as soon as he got back to his office.

 

Was it a coupe or a convertible?

Made a few calls like that myself, especially the school bus van that almost hit me and then flipped me off

 

Learned a long time ago having your shirt pulled over your head in a fight is one of the worst things that can happen. Plus it was a nice summer day out.
