Sounds good man! I love losing weight, I Just hate the sacrifices that need to be made to accomplish it, haha. I am a foodie and love cookies and fattening food (I believe the four food groups should be meat, cheese, bread & cookies) so focusing on weight loss requires a lot of modifications to bad habits on my end - but going to the gym keeps me motivated to avoid the bad food as it makes me feel like the workout is a loss.

I agree. When I began working out it was basically so that I could eat whatever the hell I wanted but make sure to burn it off. Then I enjoyed seeing the progress and getting stronger so...into powerlifting I got. I really really want some abs though hahaha

It's like Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson always said, "You can eat anything you want, as much as you want, just make sure you work it off." lol

I have a 12k winch on mine. I will weigh more than you due to DCLB, but other than that, we would be similar for equipment. So if you had to pull me out or say a full size, the 9k would be reaching it's limit for a non-doubled pull.

A winch, in my own personal opinion, is more of a self-saver item. Yes, it can be convenient and used to save someone else, but a tow strap often works better in that situation. Just my .02

no not its limit. That is why the rule of thumb is 1.5 times the vehicles weight. You should never be trying to winch someone's vehicle that outweighs you by more than 50%. That is when you would use a snatch strap. Logically Speaking if an object weighs 5000lbs and it is trying to move a stuck object that weighs 10,000lbs what will happen? The 5,000lb object will just drag itself towards the 10,000lb object. I am not saying that people should only purchase 9,000lb winches. I am just saying the people that say oh anything under a 12k is stupid have zero knowledge or logic to back them up. I have a very good friend that has 12K on his truck and sure its fine but his is not permanetly mounted in his bumper it is removeable in a winch basket. Pound for Pound the 9K winch is perfect for out vehicles. If you want more you will not go wrong with having it. Just heavier

And you would not be near the max of what you can winch if i am pulling you out. Because i would not be pulling my power. Only the weight of your vehicle!

ok, that's also motivation, but I'm single and don't have that. I like when they are at the gym for scenery but my gym-bro actually yells and motivates me. we are what your gym (planet fitness) "in a non-judgmental way" calls "lunks". Because you know...making names for people in shape isn't judgmental or anything *sigh*

I don't make the rules. lol

I used to work out with some guys who were very serious about it, and we would do as you describe whilst at the gym. But I guess I kinda realized my goals were a little different than theirs and the yelling wasn't something I needed. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just not that way myself.
