    I don't know what they're talking about! That's why it's riveting; it's a mystery!

They could be talking about anything in their PM's. For all we know, they're planning a coup to overthrow you as OP!

I would tend to believe so. Check your window sticker if you still have it.

That's what I've got for mine, once it goes on. I don't park in my garage daily anymore, so I can leave it on, but if I'm going somewhere with a parking garage, that solves my issue. It's also a lot easier to work with than the folding mount I had prior.

I've got the same. Most of the time my antenna stays on. Don't have to worry about parking garages since my FJ doesn't fit in an any besides the Logan gold pass garage

    Your FJ is that high?

I never ran into a garage issue with my old truck, even with the lights on it, even post-lift.

With the lift, factory roof rack, and 33s yes it's too high for almost every Boston parking garage. We just take the wife's T4R into the city when we go.

There are a LOT of low garages in Boston. My Tacoma and even stock F150 are marginal in a lot of the Boston garages.

I always feel like the wife's stock T4R is going to hit. It hasn't yet, but I know my FJ is taller than most garages ceiling heights

I suppose I didn't do a whole lot of Boston parking with it. I know I could fit in the Providence Place garage, but maybe that's a bit higher than the rest. Nowadays, I'm back to the low guys again. I want to change it, but I don't want to go through the headache of the ECGS bushing again.

What's funny is, by the height listed on the headache bar, my truck is too tall. I was too tall by the measurement given in the last 2 garages I had to park in for work. Before I actually drove in, I went in and measured all the beams and made sure I'd actually fit. I'm sure there must have been a low point somewhere in the garage but the structure was generally 6"+ taller than the listed clearance height.

Before I listed my FJ I had a bunch of instances where is hit the stupid hanging PVC warning pipe. I never got, but there were a few times I got it and I had an inch or less between the roof rack and have hanging pipes/ conduit.

My truck is about 5" taller now so there's no way I'm going to even try

I'm able to sneak in a few parking garages as mine doesn't have a rack. Still pretty close on some.
