Ballistic coefficients are better with higher pressures, as is terminal velocity. I shoot coyotes and they simply perform better at extended ranges. I reload also, so I can customize my pressures and 5.56 have better cases for this. Downside is you can't reload as many times as the brass is more rigid.

Which components do you have now? What kind and model of press?

 

I just need bulk bullets for 223 55gr, and cci primers

And .451 230gr fmjrn for the 45acp and cci primers

And 110gr bullets for the 300 blackout.

Which Geissele trigger do you all prefer, the SSA or the SSA-E?

I don't think you're going to find anybody to say anything negative about Geissele triggers. People have their favorites, and Geissele are definitely up there on the list

 

I ask because of that barrel being so short and so much unburned powder coming out of the barrel, does your suppressor stifle it down enough to still not half to wear ear plugs. Because in ours, it throws almost a 10 foot flame out of the barrel.

 

I thought .300 BLK only required 9" of barrel to fully burn powder?

I wasn't plugged up. But 300 blk is optimized for a 9in barrel and it's a 8.5in barrel. I've only put a mag of 220 gr. Subsonics. I shot it at dusk and there wasn't much of a flash that I noticed.
