10k miles, really? That seems like a lot (not questioning you're knowledge, just surprised!) - in all my previous vehicles I usually change around 3-5k miles. I've never owned a Toyota though.

Thank you sir! But to answer your question, it's a No, it's just an 8v. I would like to do a VR6 or a MK4 TDI motor eventually, but for now, just tinkering with the Tacoma. ;)

Well things have changed greatly over the years based on Synthetic oils, engine tolerances, clean burning combustion, etc. My 2006 Porsche Cayman S recommends a 2 year/20,000 miles oil change unless you track it or other severe driving conditions. Now like a lot of folks here, Porsche drivers do it more frequently, and the OLDER the owner, the more frequently the changes seem to be! Lots of folks who remember the 3-5K oil changes of the past and can't get over it. They rationalize it that it's not that expensive, so why not do it more frequently.

I would be more afraid of it getting you shot! I'm a retired police officer with 35 yrs and proud of it, but in todays world it doesn't pay to advertise you are a cop, it seems like it is open season for these assholes to shoot you guys. Just remember these assholes don't care who is driving or who will be in your truck! Be safe and God bless!

it's mostly music equipment related and other randomness, but my truck makes it on there fairly often.

Popped on my knobs from Hondo Garage. Granted I was alone so can't verify, but I think they improved my singing by at least 43%. I hit all the high notes singing along w the song displayed...IMG_3135.jpg

Just added OEM side steps for the kids. I think they complement this truck rather nicely. Already warned my wife, the grill is the next to go.
