Whoa, so what you're saying is my opinion is worth less because it doesn't fall in line with yours? I did not call you a fanboy, in fact that last post of your was the first one I had ever read and up until now had no impression of you that would lead me to believe you were. I just said that I was not here to be a mindless fanboy, I like most makes of vehicle as someone who aspires to be a mechanic might. I didn't say it was a test drive either did I? So let's drop the assumption game before one of us looks stupid. We try not to play the name calling game in the 1st gen section so I'll refrain and happily ride back to sanity on my Rainbow Pony. (I named him Chester)

I think you somewhat answered your own question:

Get the New Tacoma TRD OR and get the color you want.

The used TRD Sport Add-ons are nothing compared to the features that you get with the OR.

I also sense the urgency to buy a truck RIGHT AWAY. Be patient, find the right deal to get the TRD OR with the add-ons that you want.

Go online and find which dealer has your truck. Go visit the dealer around 8PM on a Tuesday, find the salesman who's having a bad day (messy hair, wired on 8 cups of coffee)

Who fucking said I was upset any way... It's Friday night and beer... and we are going to have some fun..

I just drove 16 mile round trip to get my fanboy Front Plate bumper and dropped it off at the powder coater and it took me 4 f-ing hours in Friday traffic.

Toast to the new 17 TRD OR the OP is heading out to get tomorrow. cheers! Boom.

Lol, as much as I would love to wait, I cant. I have no vehicle anymore. Ive been driving my dads 99' vette this whole week. He is not happy as it only had 35k miles on it, lol. Its also 30 degees out, not the weather to drive a corvette in.

See, I want the OR because you get better shocks, crawl control and I like the black fenders. If you compare it to same Sport mode, the OR wins hands down. But when the Sport has every option, especially those you value, then it become a competition. At least to me. So, I am torn on that one. I have been researching all the Yota dealerships here in Pittsburgh, most 17' OR's have adds I dont want to pay for. Bed cover, running boards, floor mats, ect.

Haha I've said all I care to say, this will conclude my weekly venture into the 3rd gen section for this week. Just testing to see if the water still had lead in it, but instead I found an empty well and a mad hatter.

Gap only pays difference if the value of vehicle is less than than what you owe. They gave me more than what I owe, because I traded in a vehicle and had 9 months of equity in it. It was just a very low assesment and I got taken to the house with equity loss. They basically paid me what a KBB instant cash value is. So less than trade in value...Not happy, F-you Progressive.

-Also, before I bought the 2.7 sport. I test drove a 3.5 Sport Special edition, I hated the constant loud turbo spool! It was actually annoying to me.

My next truck will either be a GM or a F150 5.0 Screw.

It won't be annoying as having the Tacoma shifting trying to find the right gear all the time. Only cure drive 80 mph wherever you go

It didnt go down 7k. He was trying to use max msrp numbers. It was closer to a 4k loss from what he actually paid.

Weird, I had a 2012 3.5 ecoburst and was pissed because I could hardly ever hear the turbos. I had a 2005 F250 with the 6.0 diesel and heard the turbos every time I touched the pedal. I loved it!
