Hey guys, recently got a Tacoma for work because my first car [Honda Fit] did not "fit" in well (pun intended:rofl:) being in construction management and going to project sites that include unpaved roads and trails.

Here's a shot of my Fit that was a trooper for the past 7 months of rough roughs and getting dirty:

And now onto the Taco-- 06 white Prerunner V6 SR5 TRD Off Road (that's a mouthful):

Got new oem tails because the passenger's side lens was broken and the driver's side was cracked too.

Also picked up a set of Morimoto retroffitted Depo headlights because I can't stand the stock output (whole fam's cars' headlights are all retrofitted or already have projectors). Would do them myself like I did with the Fit's but I don't have anymore time now. Glad I found these!

Planning on lifting it a smidge with some nice all terrains-- definitely the opposite side of the spectrum compared to my Fit but I'm stoked to start modding it and looking forward to taking it off road with my buddy and his Wrangler someday. :p

Thanks guys! I appreciate the welcome haha.

Actually planning to lift this one! I was in the market for almost any Taco with a good deal and found a late 90's one that was bagged.. you wouldn't believe the temptation to make such an impulse buy (though I might end up with 2 trucks someday LOL). But I need it at least stock height for work-- looking into coilovers maybe if it really is true that plates and blocks aren't the way to go when lifting. :boink:

I dig the Fit! Any more pictures?

I have an old project Volkswagen but if I didn't, it would be a Fit or Fiesta ST. I dig practical little cars.

    Again, thanks everyone!

I'd have to suggest if you wanted power I would rather go for the ST, haha. But the Fit feels pretty spirited especially if it's stick. Not a whole lot of aftermarket support on it but I still love the car. 30mpg easy and 35+ if you try a little harder

Here's a couple more pics of my Fit:

damn it looks nice slammed. alot of cars look nice slammed though. one thing i dont miss about driving a lowered car is swerving and being careful with the road and going up driveways, etc. alot of tacoma owners were import tuner enthusiasts.

Both are heavily supported in the aftermarket, so makes sense.

Thanks, yea, I totally agree with you about lowered cars haha. The Fit is bagged so I actually have no issues being careful with the road or going up and down driveway and speedbumps unlike when it was on coilovers

That's also nice to know! Still an import tuner enthusiast so it'll eventually show a little on the truck I think-- I saw Volks has a set of TE37X available for 6-lug LOL

Never had bags just adjustable coilovers. There's some volk owners here. I was going to pull the trigger on used ones but decided not to. After spending a lot of money on my previous car and whoring a bunch of rays and volks, i just don't have that luxury anymore hahahahah

Quick update! Got called off night shift so I installed a set of retrofit headlights I picked up earlier this week:

Ah, I went from springs to coils to bags haha. Bags are awesome! Expensive but well worth it for the ease of driving at a comfortable height yet being slammed when parked.

Ooo yea the only set of decent wheels I have are what's on the Fit-- SSR GT7's restored and fully polished. But have never emptied my pockets on a nice new set so.. :p Definitely considering bronze te37x for the Taco; we'll see.
