Hey bud are you wheeling Rausch with sway bar connected? Or are you disconnecting and zip tying it up?

Don't think I ever looked at your build. Why did you get a black truck after your 99? Did they stop making sea foam green;)? That was almost like looking at my decisions in the mid 90's...lol got a kick out of it though.

lol I've been getting conflicting info on those two syllables. I DD my truck so idk I'm just sticking with it and then disconnect the top leg when I get out there and zip tie it flat to the sway bar

I guess I could just disconnect the end links completely? idk I was just getting an alignment today and bumped into a few wheelers (techs) at Toyota. They were saying I should highly consider it but I definitely see some guys running with it. With the majority running without. If I was driving 10-20 miles to work doing 30mph everyday or even around town I wouldn't give a shit. Just feel highway driving it's worth keeping it

eventually I am sure it will come off completely but I will be running it. Maybe just take the whole thing off when I get out there.. and stick it in the bed.

What about using a setup like the Currie sway bar?
The arms are longer so it doesn't limit articulation, the torsion bar is adjustable so you can crank as much preload as needed and it looks trophy truck badass.

Pretty sure they haven't made one specific to Tacoma or they discontinued? Not in the website

Not running one and haven't since for 9 months now. Granted I'm running heavy weight springs and a strut crossover bar. I notice zero difference. Truck still handles the turns just the same.

Id still have the 99 had it not been for the rust recall. The black 07 I have now was the first DCSB I found in a manual transmission so I jumped on it.

If they still made that color I probably would.
Surfside Green Mica was the name of the color - I only ever saw 3 or 4 other ones that color and none of them were 4x4 OR's. The truck was dealer traded for me from Oregon - I bought it new & waited nearly two months for it to be built & shipped.
I had to have it. :anonymous:

So we braved the cold yesterday & got the diff put back together. :D

New rebuilt 4.56 w/ ARB locker. with the gears, a few o-rings, and shipping this was $728

Everything jacked up as safe as possible & ready to go:

    My fat ass wrenching:

    All back together:

Thanks to my good friend Joe (@Blackout14) for spending the time to be my assistant for the install - everything went much smoother with his help.

After we got it all back together Liz (@TinyTech626) stopped by & we took the truck out for a spin. Went up to Tyler & took a short walk to one of the covered bridges.

So I'm back roadworthy again & will be driving the truck a but more to break in the new gears. Next road trip will be AOP at the end of March but i hope to get a day trip in to Rausch before then. :D

Does ECGS not warranty broken gears (assuming you got it from them originally)? I thought they had a statement about smaller then 35" tires and stock motor or something.
