finally got home around 10:30 this morning after an 8:30am conference call. got hammered with a ton of requests for reporting due by EOD tuesday. fml

 

So working all weekend? Think of the overtime girl..

 

That would have been awesome to know before I cancelled the unlimited car wash plan and ordered a 3 footer

Happy Saturday; who else is stuck at work today?

 

Morning. Not at work unfortunately. No overtime allowed. So figured I'd get my tint installed and then get the tires rotated.

 

anyone going to the new england international auto show?

 

I would love to not be at work, lol. Especially because I already had 12 hours of overtime for the week before I even unlocked the door this morning.

Thought about it, but I realized that tomorrow's my only day off this week so I have to fit a full weekend's worth of chores/errands into the one day.
Plus, the GF and I both bought brand new cars this summer so it's not like there's any point in driving to Boston to go window shopping...

 

Yeah that sucks. Outside of that zone where overtime makes it worthwhile pay wise. Think I figured out once that if you go over 10 hours or so, then it becomes unprofitable with the taxes. My wife's on salary and usually has her 40 by Thurs morning. Big difference between management and hourly I suppose

 

I'm just going for the exotics. Looks like there's going to be some nice tang there

 

Yeah, My schedule's the same way. I hit my 40 on Thursday afternoon, weeks where I work a Saturday I'm up around nearly 60 hours worked. So when I work a Saturday they really beat on me for taxes.

 

Last time I went they really didn't have many exotics on hand. Couple of Lambo's and I think one Ferrari, a Porsche or two, an an Audi R8 and Lexus LFA. Pretty much everything else just regular cars & trucks. I don't think Mercedes even had an SL on display.

 

I've seen my friends posting pics from this year, lot of talent. I wasn't olanning on going until I saw rhat

That the providence or Boston show? I usually always go to the Providence show, but the Boston show is so much better.

Boston is the New England International Auto show this weekend.
Providence is the North East Auto Show, a couple weekends from now.

Looks like I'll be in Boston for the day.
