    Better yet cook her favorite breakfast and serve it with coffee when she wakes up. Then do the dishes. Though I'm single so may not be the best to give advice but it does seem to work for the girlfriends. You better get going before she wakes up.

    Actually, your advice is probably the best ... girlfriend treatment will likely get bonus points. :thumbsup:

    Yes Rob the guy I farm his place now for his family had the shingles in his late 80's. It took him at least 5 years to get rid of them completely. He was miserable with all the open sores and said it hurt to even move. He passed away at 90 from a perforated ulcer that they couldn't operate on. But every time I hear about shingles I think about how he suffered in his last years.

    And yes the old farmers (two brothers) I worked for as a kid were very poor but they wanted to pay me and my dad for any work. I think they paid me like $1.50 an hour but took SS out of that. I used to help grind feed every morning in a old hammer mill, hoe beans, drove the hay baler, cultivate corn and beans etc. The thing is I loved every bit of it and would have done it for nothing.

    I am on call starting at noon. Get paid to carry the pager (remember those?), and then I get time and a half when I clock in at the hospital-unless it is a holiday, then it's double time and a half!

    @tacoma
    I was asking for opinions and I value yours as well as others. I did not think of the crush zones and such, does not sound like my idea is going to work. Any other ideas?

    The reason is that cell phones have dead spots and dropped calls etc. The pager always seems to work and therefor you can't say I did not get the text/phone call on a phone.
