Nah your cool man. I worded it weird. But yes the main reason is at 60k miles the rear springs are toast. The dakars give a pretty solid 2.5/3 inch lift so I'll put Billie 5100's on. Might as well do the front while I'm at it. So I asked if I can go without control arms on the 16. I did so on my 12 but it ate up tires to be honest. It was a spacer lift however of 3 inches and had the UCA's at a pretty steep angle.

Ate up tires, what were your alignment specs?

Tacoma 5100's work with dakars if you like using your shocks as limit straps.

You can fit 275's almost stock, why would you jack the front end up so high.

I ran 5100's set to zero with 885's and I thought it handled like shit, and that was with an alignment. I would say yes to needing UCA's.

I'm tired of dragging on the rutted out roads. I'm not exactly sure on tire size. I'll go big as I can and not rub. I'll give it a shot. If my alignment guy doesn't like it I'll spring for some UCA's.

And yea that the problem on the back with the dakars. They top out and blow the seals. Do you have a suggestion for rear shocks that are long enough? And don't cost what kings do?

Tundra 5100's, B110's for the rear, they are pretty cheap.
