    This is what they look like. The bal joint at the bottom has been blown apart for a few years now. It rattles when im hitting little bumps in the pavement. Lots of road salt.

    King said they could give me new joints for $20 each i think was the price. Ill be doing this as my next repair

    Wow those look beat! I would send them in and have em rebuilt or get a whole rebuild kit and do it yourself, you'll thank yourself later. Those springs are looking beat too

    ha yeah never been rebuilt but they dont seem to be leaking and are still functioning well aside from the annoying chatter of small bumps. Im sure a rebuild would make them work better but I got them originally for abut $600 new.

    they may not leak but the oil inside breaks down over time

    and then what? im not really doing too much off roading these days and havent noticed the shock absorption level to be a probem. just the chatter. I wonder how much the rebuild would be, also the springs look like the paint is all jacked but metal seems ok..
