@90yota you were right. I don't like this snorkel.

Now to find someone to trade for a stock fender. Think I can find someone that needs a cut fender - for a snorkel and 35's.:rofl:

I don't know if it's the lightbar or the snorkel. Something about my truck is off and I don't like the look at all. Plus that snorkel is so effin big.

I'm really hoping the bumper fixes it.

It's all painted and ready to go. I'll be installing it tomorrow. No instructions or anything so we'll see what happens.

I'm most nervous about guessing on the cut since I have no clue where it's supposed to be.

I'll probably put a thread in the armor section as install. That will help some other people too I hope.

I also had to pick some extra hardware. Some of the Allen heads were stripped when I took it apart to paint.

Well. I'll save some of it until I talk to all pro Monday. But it wasn't bad. Nothing really lined up. Some big gaps here and there. Had to oval some holes. Bend some brackets. But don't this as it's a bad bumper. That's why I want to talk to all pro. I don't think mine was made on a jig and I'm pretty sure it's one of the first. I'll assume that's why mine had so many issues (plus a bunch of cosmetic issues).

I lucked and got my bumper cut correct the first try. I had no instructions or template. So anyone installing one of these I have a ton of tips.

Issues that won't change jig or no jig.

Fog lights. Sure there are holes. But no brackets or anything. I got creative and drilled a couple holes and bolted up my stock ones. If you look close you can see they are pretty much worthless Since they point straight down now.

The winch solenoid bracket isn't even close to where the solenoid would reach. And in a weird spot. I moved it up behind the grill. Looks better. I don't have to pop the hood to hook up the controller

The winch plate didn't really work well with my winch. I had to get creative and use my own hardware and spacers. Lucky I have a lot of left over bolts.

The hardware for the aluminum plates (smaller bolts) has to be the cheapest garbage bolts I've ever dealt with. I ended up spending 20 bucks on some stainless stuff from Home Depot.

That's it. I've never installed a bumper on a truck so have nothing to compare it to. I have on jeeps but those are about as simple as you can get. Overall it went okay. I think it looks really good. I need to take it out of my garage and see what it looks like.

I still think there is something off on the truck. It looks kind of ugly. :anonymous:

Thanks for the comments on the bumper install. Sorry to hear you had a bunch of fitment issues. I am very surprised there are no brackets for the fog lights.

No problem. I'll talk to all pro Monday and see what the deal is with everything and post back.

But like I said, don't get me wrong. This is a sweet bumper with some minor issues. I still think it's the best looking bumper right now for these trucks.

Ooooh good call! I'll suggest it! Haha

Here's where I put my solenoid. I cleaned up the wires a bit after this.

I can't figure out what it is that makes this truck so ugly. I know it's partly the snorkel but I'm kind of stuck with that unless I can find someone to trade. Maybe it's the lightbar? I was thinking of moving most of them to the bumper and then the rest somewhere else. But it's nice having them up high. Hmm.
