That's what I'm hoping for. Either they get it driving right or I feel they should give me another truxk that doesn't have this issue. Spending this much on a vehicle you should get whay u pay. I do still love the truck

Definetly should feel like you got your monies worth! $38K dollar truck you should feel like its worth it. They the dealer should make it right to anyone that has spent the money on one. The first time I had to take Lil Red to the dealer the were jerking me around so I made the call to Toyota HQ and they got everything straightened out for me. The lady I spoke with at HQ was Less then happy with how I was treated at the dealer. She wanted to know what all I had Issues with, with my truck. And EVERYTHING about my dealer, how I was treated, who I was "working" with. My next appointment at the dealer to have my leaking license plate light fixed, they informed me that HQ contacted them. They requested I not go to HQ before giving them a chance. I explained to them that i gave them a chance and jerked me around. Going to the dealer and paying cash for a new truck, with all the warranties and all. I shouldn't be jerked around. People at HQ get shit done ha. It might be worth giving them a call, if you dealer fails to get the problem resolved!

Stereo overhaul has begun! Back of the sub box being fit and molded today, tomorrow it'll all come together. Having a friend (professional) so the install. Here's the goodies going in:

Front speakers: Focal K2 Power ES165K 6.5" components
Rear speakers: Focal 165 AC 6.5"
    Subwoofer: JL 13TW5
    Amp: Alpine PDX-V9 5 channel
    Head unit: Kenwood DDX9903S

I've been looking forward to this build since I first turned the stereo on after I drove the truck off the lot.
I almost didn't replace the entune unit because I didn't want to loose nav but realistically it would only affect me if I were out of cell service, and needed nav. Which isn't too often the case. Which I can dust off the old Tom Tom if it's that necessary. With idatalinks maestro adapter I keep all vehicle info and settings adjustment.
Will also be flush mounting the hdmi input hopefully on the current switchboard above the charger pad so I can easily change out whatever video input I want. What's really cool about the Kenwood is if my phone is plugged into hdmi and connected through Kenwood app I get full touch control and mirroring of my phone through the Kenwood.

This certainly wasn't a cheap build to do but I've never once experienced buyers remorse on car audio and am excited to finally have what I want in there.

Busy day over here.... Installed an icon stage 4 lift on my buddies new truck, as well as Baja Designs squadron sport fogs and the all important bottle opener in the bed. Then adjusted my front suspension to account for the added weight of the winch and then worked on another buddies Tacoma. Pretty productive and successful day!! I think today marked my 20th 3rd Gen that I've lifted...

Well he gave me a $10 discount so that's cool haha. I did just pull over on the shoulder of the road or at least that's what I thought and got stuck in the snow. So my day is going great

Ah it's awesome! You make it like you would normally. Still cook the pasta, melt the cheese, pre cook the bacon. Just once it's all done, put it in the smoker at 225 for about an hour or so.

Uninstalled my new Nfab running boards on my truck....to me the truck looks way nicer without them and didn't really need them anyway....so if anyone is in pierce co. and wants them let me know.

I work in Greeley. Are they the 2" or 3" tube running boards?

Least you got "something" out of it haha. stuck on the side of the road? 4lo and MTS in the mud& sand mode work great in the snow! the back parking lot at work had about 1.5ft of snow and Lil Red motored right on though it all. I was very happy with it. Most of the time i'm more of a 4hi and punch it kinda guy haha. definitely doesnt get you too far tho haha.
