I've decided on what Tacoma to get now looking for recommendations on a few things.. Truck is 2017 D-cab offroad q-sand
    1. Weather tec vs factory floor mats
    2. Best seat cover
    3. Looking for a black grill insert, what are some good brands or website to look at..
Its probably not to original but i want to black it out so any advice, tips or recommendations is appreciated..
P.S I've never owned a Toyota so my knowledge is minimal

It's all good my friend. Easy to get excited about your new ride.

Warning there are about 3 members who do nothing but bash 3rd gen tacomas. Dont fall into that trap.

    Good luck!

Its not that. Its the hypochondriacs that will convince you there is something wrong with your truck.

Its a rabbit hole... dont fall in.

    1. Weathertech or Husky "Floor Liners" this style gives more protection than the normal floor mats. I ahve the Weathertech floor liners and love them. I hear the Husky are "softer" but have no experience.
    2. I like the Clazzio but they mey not be the best for you and more expensive, >600 i think. They are leather/pvc or PVC but look really good in pictures and many members love them. I think @smitty99 might now the difference well. just ran across this post from him:
    3. Toyota Pro grill, BAMF Fab raptor or economy grill, db customs and many more options. I cant think of the others out there but search the forums or google to find more options.

I love my 2017. Been enjoying it for 5+ months now. Its my first Tacoma and first truck/4x4.

I like my OEM all weather mats but I'm always a fan of OEM stuff vs aftermarket. They fit like a glove and I don't get the sensation of an all weather mat under my foot with them. They don't have high walls towards the seats so if you spill something, it's going to run. But then again, I don't expect all weather mats to contain a spilled double big gulp.

They dont go up the side either do they? The ones I have seen dont at least. I wanted protection from mud getting on the carpet going up to the right of the gas pedal.

I got the factory tub mats.
they don't cover as much as weather techs but look nicer to me and look to cover enough for me.
Not worried about any salt stains with them like I was with other cars.

everyone seems to go with clazio seat covers.
    can't help on the grill.

    Check my build

    1) OEM looks better. But I had to modify them to stop moving around
    2) no data
    3) I painted a spare OEM black at a paint shop.

I get in "trouble" if I mention anything about him.

And I dont believe he has had all the isssues he says he has had. He wants a buy back or lemon lawed. And is forcing anything and everything at this point.

On the floor mats , get the lighter Gray ones. They dry in the truck and still look pretty clean . The black ones get dirty and dry dirty . Huge difference. I have had Weathertech and Husky. I like the Weathertech better but maybe it is because they are the gray ones lol.

Weathertech makes some solid floor mats. I'd look at them.

Seat cover? Some people like wet okole, some like clazio. Those are two worth looking at.

How about "there's a search feature but for the sake of helping...here's some options for floormats and seat covers...
. If you don't know what you're searching for it may not be beneficial. Sorry about some blunt responses.
