I went the AAL route and now regret it. I did add a shell though, but mine immediately started sagging. I plan to get an expedition pack eventually.

I'm glad I went with the full leaf pack. The difference between the stock springs and Dakars is huge! IMG_0345.jpg

So, i was helping my brother move this weekend, and i came across our old Lego bin that was in his spare room closet. I opened it up and found two vehicles i built from scratch years ago, which were still intact: a firetruck and a tow truck. So i took them home with me.

The firetruck has hoses that come out, the ladders extend and the base is a swivel, and there's storage in the rear section.

The tow truck has suspension, the hook extends out, has a "winch", a light that swivels, and tools.

    Here's a bunch of pics.

    How awesome is that @11TRDTX
Brings me back to being a kid building unstoppable armies and machines to battle my brothers. He was bigger than me and would smash Mine to bits. I eventually got smart and mad a solid cube and started pounding it down on his army and buildings and he grabbed it and through it.... it stayed solid

Well I've spent quite a bit building my truck up this year from stock to a fairly competent off-roader. I've just about got the job in Nashville wrapped up. Downside is it's in downtown Nashville, a 43 mile oneway commute. I'd like to get many years of use out of my upgrades. With that commute plus all trips to Florida and other fun trips I'm looking at 30k+ miles a year. So I'm starting to think about getting an economical DD to run on the work commute, leaving the truck for fun driving.:mudding:If I do that I might mount the 255's permanently.
Of course that's all conjecture until I get the green light to start working. :fingerscrossed:

Thinking about buying my wife a new ride. If we do, I'm taking her DD since it probably doesn't have too much trade value. If/when THAT happens, it's sawzall and 35's, gears and body damage.....Until then, gotta keep it tame.

Yeah, legos was my thing back in the day. I guess that helped spark my enthusiasm for cars and trucks.
