does anyone know what kind of lift I have going on here? The guy I got this truck from was a do it do-it-yourselfer, which is fine but I have found that he did thing half assed so I'm wondering if I need to upgrade.20170113_112625.jpg 20170113_112641.jpg 20170113_113526.jpg

Does not look like any lift at all, but need a pic of the top of the front shock tower to check if there is a spacer lift in there. Rest looks stock.

    This.
Unless there is a spacer on top of the shock, that looks like a stock suspension.

In front it looks to me like he put aftermarket springs on the factory shocks, in back you have one extra leaf which is probably an AAL.

    Just my opinion

Take a measurement from the center of the hub to the fender, and if we knew what kind of truck you have that will help.

Looks like there is a top strut spacer because of the angle of the cv axles (or the truck was jacked up). Would definitely need a picture of the top of the front shocks to know for sure- rest of front suspension looks OEM. As for the rear, looks like completely stock. Maybe an AAL if it's a 2011 or lower.

If I'm not mistaken, 2011 and lower come originally with 3 leafs. The recall (AAL makes it 4)... 2012 and higher comes stock with 4

2005-2011 factory is 2+1 (one being the overload)
    2011 up factory is 3+1
your still short, I count 5 including overload

Can't tell if that's an aluminum 1/4 or 1/2 spacer on top or nothing at all. The way the rubber padding bends and how little thread is showing on top of the top strut bolts make me wondering if there is a spacer. OP, what year is the truck? Also, any recalls done that you know of?

the truck is an 07 sport and there is a recall on the rear leafs but when the dealer started in on it they told me that with the additional leafs that I already have, to put the stock ones back in would be a step backwards, they said that what I have in the rear is better than what they would put in.

That makes sense. In my best judgement, the rear looks stock and it seems the previous owner installed aluminum top strut spacers to try to level out the truck. With the spacers being so thin, it wouldn't affect the ride quality much.

Yeah, that's definitely a spacer. Looks like at least 1/2" (which would give ~1" of lift). OP needs to take measurements to know for sure (measure from center of hub to bottom of fender)(stock measurements are typically ~20").

As has been previously mentioned the rear either has an AAL installed in the factory leaf pack, or is an aftermarket leaf pack. Hard to tell from the pic.
