No, people hate you because you have had so many problems that you think 100% of other people are having them, too, and if they're not, they're either turning a blind eye, a liar and/or a fanboy.

The thing that worries me as a new Taco owner is the seeming lack of bumpers...especially the front. I bought in November so I'm in the OCD stage with it.

Did I just kill the discussion? Maybe my above previous post was just a brain fart that's been bothering me.

Seriously, I can think of like 8 off the top of my head o_O

EDIT: C4, Relentless Fab, Insane Fab, ARB, CBI, Fab Fours, DEMELLO OFF-ROAD, MBRP, All-Pro Offroad, Expedition One, SSO, Pelfreybuilt

And most offer multiple styles. I'm sure I'm missing a few, it's late and the Hardy Mango's are kicking in.

I have the Husky X-acts and love them. I have had zero issues. The passenger side comes with a carpet clip to keep it from moving if you do have the issue with it slipping. I would highly recommend them. Auto anything had a great sale a while back with 20% off coupon making them like $130 for the front's and back. Might be worth checking into.

Quite a few seem to post about problems with the OEM all weather mats over time which shyed me away from them.

For the seat covers you could go Clazzios since they seem the best overall but if you need them to be more of a seat cover and not mostly for style/finish then maybe the other options out there that are water resistant/proof would be better. I'm on my phone so it's hard to scroll back but I think you posted you work in construction or the like and I would worry about the Clazzios being rather expensive to use as work seat covers. The carhartts seem to have good reviews but I don't think they are water resistant. Some of the neoprene ones seem to work really well and might be a better fit for your purposes. Maybe others can chime in more on that.

For grill a lot either go with the pro or swap for an SR or SR5 grill. Personally, I also really like the looks of some of the custom ones that incorporate the smaller square lights into them. Lots of options out there which is great but also makes it hard to decide lol. It really depends on your exact budget and then narrow down from there.

I really don't notice much of difference with the either mat. You're still going to get dirt or leaves on your carpet by your seats. Both do a good job keeping the bottom area clean in my opinion.

seat covers I have been looking at
    NeoSupreme and wet okole.

I swapped my chrome grill for a black SR grill and like the look much better.

I wouldn't be concerned about this. Without a doubt the 3rd gen tacoma is the safest Tacoma you can buy...absolutely no chance they would back track in that department. It's probably safer than nearly every reasonably comparable vehicle older than 10 years as well. Thick strong steal bumpers are not ideal in a severe impact. You want it to crumple and absorb as much of the impact as it can. Furthermore the reason behind the plastic poking out front end is to increase the chance a pedestrian could survive being hit by it. This is one reason to not get one of the big plate bumpers. If you hit and kill someone with one of those things mounted you will probably lose everything and may serve jail time. They are not at all street legal.

That's good to know. I feel alot better now. I have noticed that the quarter panels on the truck are divided up into segments as well, which possibly could make a small fender bender not cost a fortune to fix if it ever happens.

I don't think he wants a buy back or he would have gotten it by now. I think he just likes justice and he fights for it. That's my opinion.

    Welcome to the site.

Lots of friendly people here. A few trolls too.

Fair warning to your bank account though.

I'd recommend checking the for sale sections, you'll often find great deals on there.
