I have been having this dilemma for MONTHS.... And a few things made my mind up.

    1. I didn't want the maintenance of a pop up, my dad and uncles have motor homes and its not bad but its still there. A pop up is made even lighter and "cheaper" to keep the. Easy to tow, and keep them easy on the wallet...

    2. I like to camp where I dont see people for days and a pop up while you can lift them etc is hard to get back into some of those type of places. PLUS I wouldn't want to have any damage to my pop up trying to squeeze it through things because that's just not what it was made for...

    3. I love to fish. I need a way to still tow a small boat to the rim lakes when making a fishing trip up north. Etc..

    4. As I found a few people mention, you up high. So if something happens in the middle of the night you have a good place to hold your post and view out. Especially sense I work some crazy hours and often camp alone.

    5. Everyone else has one so they must be cool. Lol

Eventually my plan is to have mine mounted on my trailer once I get a boat. I have the trailer just waiting for a good deal on a boat that I can make work with my trailer.

Whoa, I popped some Zzzquil at about 10:30pm and just woke up. That shit is magical. First time I've slept through the entire night in about 2 months.

2 beds, sink, heater, stove for just over 3k. It's a pretty awesome value. Just towing it limits me a good bit.

Mmm. Waffles. I want waffles. Or pancakes. Or something. I should go grocery shopping. All I have is beer, cheese, bacon, eggs, and fish.

They're a good value. But for me I would have to store it away from where I live as well. Plus like I said I dont know the deal with double trailers. (Boat) and the maintenance and storing it outside would kill me... My truck sits in the garage..... Except when I'm camping. That's why my 01 has 107k on it too I guess. Im with you a pop up was pretty appealing. But I'm also a guy that still cooks on the fire etc because I like that kind of stuff while camping.

Eh. Bread molds before I get to it. I make some mean scrambles though. Eggs are my favorite.

That's huge for me. I keep mine in my garage so I've seriously made the decision to camp and been on the road in under an hour. That's crucial for me. Being able to just hook up and go.
