hello all I am new to the forum! Just picked up my very first Tacoma yesterday!
I'm looking for information of deactivating the seatbelt alarm on the 2017 Tacoma's! Does anyone out there know the sequence?

not that I don't wear my seatbelt but holy fuck are they ever annoying as fucking hell if you don't put it on the second you start moving.

Yep. I think on my second night I turned off the seatbelt warning. I also turned off that annoying "headlights are on" beep
When you get out the truck at night.

you try driving with the door open?
it almost seemed to hesitate on me today when I was parking.
parked and after I did noticed I could've moved up a lot more (getting used to the front end) so got in and moved up but never closed the door, almost seemed like it hesitated to move at first until I really gave it gas. almost like the safety feature delay on when you slam the throttle.

Yesterday I moved it while I was cleaning under it with the door open. No hesitation, Just a loud ass beep.

could've been the inclined parking spot I was in, who knows

definitely need to get used to the front end though haha.
parking at my girlfriends today I had to get her to tell me how far I was from the wall in her laneway, problem is being so high I can't see the post on the curb to prevent you from hitting the house. after she got out said I had almost 2 feet, got back in and was like 'wtf it looks like you're already hitting the wall'

thought the parking was going to be the bitch, actually easy as fuck to park at her place in the lane with the truck since I just pull onto the curbs that are in the way haha. car is too low to do so, easy in the truck.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Dealer can disable it in the settings. For some reason it's greyed out for us.

I don't know if my dealer will do it,will find out soon. What I meant is,I take the rear belt[access cab] and plug it in my stalk, this way I can move my seat to get to the back. You can hook your belt and sit on it,I find this easier and I don't have to deal with it.
