I think I had them listed on Craigslist for ~ $4000 MXN but you would get a TW rate for sure. I'm intrigued by those 2nd gen wheels but the rubbing turns me off :sawzall:

    Sooo, $186.23 USD?

I think I am just going to run these until I decide to buy some wheels with the correct BS so I can ditch the spacers. The frame rub is so slight, I bet you would all laugh if I had a pic. It's there nonetheless though.

$200. Might have been $125 actually :notsure:

I don't really want to get rid of them but white 1st gens with chrome/aluminum rims make me happy in the pants.

I, like you, want to put them back on the truck eventually. They're some of the best looking wheels imo for these trucks.

Got my spare mounted up. It's a maxis bighorn. Not a bad looking tire at all. I was hoping to be able to fit it under the bed, but it's just too big. I think my aftermarket hitch it the problem. I also think that if I had an aftermarket bumper with a built in hitch (like the trail gear I had on the other truck) it would fit.

In the mean time it'll ride here.

Would it fit if you deflated it? You have oba, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Hmm, never crossed my mind, but I doubt it. It's a lot too big. I'll check it nonetheless.

    Washer fluid reservoir relocation.

I am hoping this is the end of my tire rubbing. It was rubbing the reservoir here.

So I made this from PVC

    Write-up here.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1s...ild-lt-expo-trail-rig-bs-407.html#post8802626

And mounted it here by getting really crafty with zip ties. Also had to extend the wires and hose for the pump.

It's very solid, works great, hidden by my "skid plate", and cost me less than $3. I'm happy.

Now that I think on it, couldn't it warp the tire out of round if it stayed up there with its shape distorted for long periods of time?

Maybe but if that's your theory then it's much worse to leave a truck sitting on its tires in the driveway for extended periods of time considering the load they hold

Hey Carter, I got that measurement for you:

22" from forward edge the bed crossmember to the forward face of the built-in hitch on the TG bumper. I'd consider going with 21-1/2 or 21-3/4 just to be safe, as my bed may be shifted relative to the frame compared to yours. There is also a bit of parallax there, since the two locations aren't on the same plane, so to speak.

    IMG_3468.jpg

I'd be happy to measure again from the frame crossmember if you'd like, but that should get you pretty close. Good luck!

I can tell when the truck has been sitting in the cold. When I first take off, the flat spots are very noticeable. Goes away as the tires warm up.
