Those look awesome however, 2012-2015 have the newer 2nd gen headlights so you would need four.

I like this idea, but also giving a nod to the pre-Tacoma models which has since influenced each subsequent models. I seem to pick up on subtle design influences each time I look at one.

I know each of the gens have their own sub-gens. Maybe something like this with the first of each gen plus a old pre-Taco pick up grill? I think 4 would be easy for either design.

    Thanks bud.

And on the subject of trying to fit all the generations onto one coin? Yeah, that's not the best idea. We can't make everyone happy, it just won't happen. So stick with a generic Toyota theme and be happy. :D

Actually, I do have an idea for that but it will take some time to produce and it so that will have to wait till I get home later....:D

I agree for the most part. We can't capture every little nuance on one coin. I do think we can do a simple design which represents 3 generation keeping the TW theme in mind.

Three set up fees potentially, higher initial cost.

Did you see the design for the back that @TinyTech626 did?

    I need one of those.

How much for one of those?

Can I get one of the coins and patches from you?

I totally haven't read through everything yet. But is there a settled design yet? And it looks like @TacomaRockStar will be making them right?

Something like this maybe, for the back side. The picture would be a raised detail in my mind.

Edit: the picture would fill to the inner red line.

OK, The only issue I see with the 1st-3rd get is what about the pre-1st get guys and like someone else said, the 4th gen?

I like the 4 logos on one side and the TacomaWorld.com on the other. Maybe add "In tcbob we trust" and leave it open for people to have the middle engraved, with state or username or what ever they want.

I'm out for now. Keep bouncing ideas of each other.

If someone with better skills wants to start with a rendering, please do. My skills are lacking in this area.

I'm interested. I have several coins from various deployments that my kids have now squirreled away in the house. One of my favorites was this:

    IMG_5186.jpg

It was simple and had some color to it.

The newer challenge coins are pretty cool too honestly.

I think the idea of the various Toyota logos is a good idea, as too specific on 1st/2nd/3rd gen is too narrow. Let's it forget that not everyone has an OR truck and converted their Taco to street only.

I like the idea of the shovel and high lift crossed as well as some of the other ideas floated around.

I'm in for one or two.
