I have done quite a bit of searching, but I can't seem to find the answer (maybe I'm using the wrong keywords?). I would post this in the Wheels & Tires section, but my question is 3rd gen specific. Has anyone swapped their TPMS sensors from their stock OR wheels to a set of Method wheels, or does anyone know if they will fit? If not, what aftermarket sensors do I need in order to keep the system working? The light would drive me nuts, so I want to keep everything working as designed. Thanks in advance.

Your stock sensors will work on almost all aftermarket wheels. However replacing a TPMS has to be Toyoyta only. at 79 a pop. Unfortunately the TPMS system is a lil bitch when it comes to compatibility on other brands. :annoyed:

1 small 3/4" round piece of black electrical tape can work wonders if placed in just the right place..!!
Spend the $ on a good tire gauge and use it regularly...
That's what my Dad taught me.. It works just fine..!!

I'm sure it does, but I'm one of those people who like for everything to work properly on their vehicle. Even if I did put a piece of tape on there, I would know that the light is still on and it would bug me nonetheless.

Good luck with it... I'm kinda OCD on some stuff, but this one ..NOT..! Just costs too much to make it work on my winter tires...!

Fortunately I don't have to have a second set of tires for wintertime. It's in the 70s outside right now LOL

The silly thing is, TPMS is not required by Canadian regs. Some carmakers don't even include them in Canadian models.
