January Nor Cal TW Snow Run 1/15/17

Damn. That sucks. Looks like the bumper did its job though

 

The majority of the group is still up here. There was a bad accident at that icy part. The road is closed for the time being

 

Anyone from TW? Hope everyone is ok!

 

Did the ice disappear after that icy part? We wanted to go further but we were worried about the ice getting worse.

 

There was 3 accidents in the 15 minutes we were there at that icy corner!

 

There were a couple more patches of ice but after hitting the first hill, we were in the clear. It did not get worst. Everyone made it with little problems.

 

@Flowed2011taco couldn't make it up that first hill. He blames the duratracs but I think it was driver error

 

Hahaha, might be a good thing or else u would be camping right now

So were stuck on MET or 50? I can't quite tell...

 

Not sure, seen the comments on here, so I sent out a text asking if they where alright up there.

Ferny replied back what I posted.

We got thru with no issues. Im on 50 now with the wifey driving.....stoped and had a double of jameson. I needed it

 

Haha first thing I thought too

my truck would be grumpy with 7.5 month preggo wife and 2 year old in the backseat. We almost went, but didn't want to break brunch plans with friends.

 

Same here. Got to be up early for work.

 

Yea have to be up early plus had a long week I almost went this morning and then decided to fall back asleep so glad now that I did.

All worth it when my son just told me he made a new friend and had the best day

 

I'm confused... there was an accident closing MET? Didn't you guys go to MET? Is that why you guys are getting back late or was there a lot of recovering going on?
