It can be welded on, but I recommend you raise or remove the bed to do so, which is not hard unless you have a bunch of gear installed

You can get it welded-on when @stairgod does your rear frame plates and gusseted rear crossmember.

Just lift the entire bed and get it all done!

I think you may need the shackle flip with 45* shackle angle to do 14" with spring over, but you can probably also set up for as much bump travel as the thickness of the spring pack above the axle with allow. Edit: I think the AllPro Expo packs or something similar will be best bet.

I understood, I added to my reply above regarding the AllPro Expo. Maybe we'll see more Chevy 63" get swapped in...front hanger is on my list

Looks like you've done it again! This will be awesome for overland/LT setups in combination with SUA. Great seeing progress, and looking forward to the kits that you'll be offering.:hattip:

Btw, the link takes you to the listing with a list price of $0.00. Any hints of what final pricing will look like?

I think you nailed it on the first try, pending when you set up the Kings and what not. I think the tower portion, from the top of the frame up, you can bring in the edges a bit and just add a gusset or two at the creases. I'm thinking of an "A" shape. No real reason why, except to save on material.

Thank you! Its on the link description $300 with details about discounts. Another kit on the market is $675, and while very nice, is only listed at 10" travel :ballchain:

Thanks Rusty. You are right if it was only to fit smooth body shocks, but it is also intended to fit bypass shocks possibly with piggy back resi

So how about this, the Deaver U182 3" lift Chevy spring is 65" long and designed as a spring over pack, but you could install them under the axle and would probably be a good fit for spring under on the Tacoma, or Deavers SUA F67, or even the SUA U539/540 which bolts into the stock front hangers. Alex Milewski @twf007 is testing the U539/540 right now with the Archive shackle flip and we figure it will put atleast 14", and he is really happy with the ride.

If I go spring under and move mounts on my frame, I better get more than 14" of travel. Getting 12" niw without all that effort.

I agree, the U182 and the F67 will do 18"+ but then you'll be cutting the bed to put shocks through it, which is cool for those would don't mind doing that.

But I was really saying the U539/540, with stock mounts will probably do 14", haven't seen posted where anyone tried it

Moving shock mounts on the axle, obviously, is not going to increase travel of the axle. The whole point of the relocation is to maximize the amount of up-travel one can achieve without cutting into the bed and caging. 14" travel shocks are that maximum.

That is impressive travel for stock mounts.
