Wife made it, the turnips and onions are cooked in lots of butter, collard greens are cut thin and it takes her about 20 min to make them edible, all I know is it is really good.

I'm debating on going to work tomorrow...but I sure as hell am not getting up at 0330. That's my summer time revile. I'm sleeping in till 0430 dammit!

 

I’m fortunate to be able to enjoy one of my 10 federal holidays tomorrow.

 

It is one of my holidays too but I've got some things to do and it's easy double OT... but I do have stuff to do here at home too besides just taking it easy and relaxing.

 

I had to sit down and really think it through, You know how it goes, trying to remember things sometimes to figure it out, and I think I can sleep till 4:00 tomorrow. I gotta go to flag, then Phoenix, and I don't want to get down there while all the whippersnappers are rushing around trying to get to work.
So, I think 4:00 it is.

 

Who needs to eat boiled weeds for that , DQ Texas Toast and gravy .. done !!:} And tastes at least marginally better then the lawn mower leavings of cooked leafy vegetables lol :}

So at this point I am probably going to be making bacon and corn bread for brunch :} Drip a little honey on the corn bread and done if I could get scallops that tasted right down here I would go hunt some up put them in the oven with a pat of butter and a topping of crushed gold fish or garlic butter ritz.. hmmm

I don't either brother, but its Rush hour in the morning Im trying to negotiate. If I get up at 3:30 (normal time for dodging the Rush) I think I will get there just in time to enjoy the final 30 minutes.
