Measure from the floor to the frame and see what you come up with.

 

So ive contacted all pro a few times and they are sending me a replacement leaf pack for the driver side. Hopefully the problem is resolved.

 

I don't know about second gens, but on first gems there is a right and left spring. Same base part number followed by A (driver side) and B (passenger side)

 

Yes i have read that, i think some some spring makers for the second gens do this also to account for the gas tank and driver weight. All pro how ever does not.
The springs are the same. Hopefully the new pack remedies my problem. I have a feeling it will.

Its all good i dont really mind. Ill likely be doing the archive garage shackle flip at the same time so i have to take it half apart anyways.

 

Just so you know the shackle flip voids your warranty on the All-Pro Springs!

 

I assumed so, which is why im waiting untill the leaf problem is sorted out to do the flip. Good looking out though. Do you know how long the warranty is anyways?

Heres an update. My problem must have been from a faulty leaf spring. After some correspondence with All pro, they sent me out a brand new leaf pack. I installed it the following weekend and all is good. Truck is even and rides like a champ. Im satisfied with allpros costumer and warranty service. They shipped it to me free of charge. I offered to send back the faulty spring but they said there was no need. So now me and my taco are sitting happy again.

 

@RunsGuns there should not ever be a difference in DS to PS springs. They have the same mounting points. Glad to hear they replaced them for you though.

 

Yea same mounting points but not the same weight distribution.

 

Good to know. Didn't think there would be a diff. But it makes sensei haven't done anything in the rear yet with springs other than the blocks and new shocks.

 

That is awesome! Good on All Pro to do that! I went through this same thing with a coil on a new set of FOX 2.5s. FOX would NOT send me a new spring! I would have to remove my shocks and ship them to fox for evaluation before a new spring would be provided. In the mean time I would just be without a truck!! So, in other words, there is no warrantee. Luckily, I found a good set of used springs and kept my truck on the road.

I put All Pro expos on my truck about five years ago with lots of heavy stuff, and they have been great. They have settled maybe 1/2 inch. Unfortunately this bad spring thing happens fairly often because most manufacturers do not test the spring rate as part of their QC processs. We are the final QC.
