This isn't a "lost in the wilderness" kind of thing so you don't need to pack like you won't be back at camp for 12 hrs. Any recovery gear is great but specifically: 2 shackles, snatch strap, tow strap, air compressor, can of either, toyota bottle jack and 2 racket straps. Losing a bead on a tire and getting stuck in the mud or being high centered on ruts are your main concerns. If you are bringing spare parts, things I'd bring are: spare tire, cv axle, hub assembly, u joint and maybe an alternator...... *cough* Matt *cough*. Bring any tools to change those parts and extra fluids: motor oil, trans oil and brake fluid. I bring much more then what I just listed but I already have all these things. Keep in mind there are parts stores within an hour from the camp site but toyota specific parts are hard to find and the toyota dealership there is very small. 99.9% of people who come to this event have zero problems and are only working on their truck because they are swapping parts or were waiting on someone's help to install something at the meet. I made a list of everything that I bring not too long ago but I'll never remember what thread that was in. Haha

Then you have to spend time processing it. If you bring it already cut to length and split, and everyone brings some, then there's no work to do and we can spend more time talking shit to each other and making fun of poor life choices.

What Dave said. And to answer your question, maybe. Depends on the weather there. It seems to always be wet there. You can't cut down trees so you rely on fallen ones. The odds aren't in our favor to get a bunch of fresh fallen trees. If everyone who comes brings 10 split pieces of wood, that would be like ....... a lot of wood and then we find more if needed.

My sister had the flu a couple years back and they gave her augmentin. She ended up with Cdiff. That led to a bowel resection, 8 months in hospital or rehab hospital, and damn near killed her. 2 years later and she is still having effects.

Plus, funny thing.....around camp grounds, the supply of deadfall that makes quality firewood has usually been picked through pretty hard. "Green wood" (fresh cut) doesn't like to burn unless you already have a big hot fire going to get it burning.

Best to bring it with us.

I believe it. Antibiotics and narcotics are both WAY overprescribed and one of the biggest reasons is customer satisfaction surveys.

Last year when I was having all my issues, They had me eating antibiotics like candy. As soon as one script would run out, they'd throw another at me. I was on 'em from late November through early May. Instead of treating the cause of the infection, they were just trying to beat it with meds. Once they FINALLY got that tumor off my kidney, the infection went away on it's own LITERALLY in 24 hours.

I have some trees down in the yard but I don't feel like cutting them up. And we technically aren't supposed to transport wood from out of state.

And thinking of rules, I think the DNR or someone has regulations now about drones in parks & wildlife areas.

Not even supposed to move firewood from county to county in Kentucky. (Emerald Ash Borer) State Parks prohibit drones unless you have site specific permit (that requires a specific reason)

    Best to play dumb....

I definitely understand the need to treat an infection prophylactically with a broad spectrum until you can do a proper C&S and find out what you're dealing, but after that it should be a narrow spectrum antibiotic that targets whatever bacteria the infection is being caused by.
