I haven't kept any of my challenge coins over the years, I send them to my little brother's who like collecting them, I don't see myself as that crusty SNCO with their coins all over the desk as trying to make some silly point/inflated ego, but id keep one of these.

I'm in. I have quite a few challenge coins from my time in service. This would be cool to have and possibly give some out on the trails for those that prove they're above and beyond a bushcraft/offroader

Yeah, I think my dad has 40 something coins. I only got 3 in my time in, but 2 of them got me a lot of drinks when me and the guys use to go drinking.

I think the highest ranking one I ever got was from the commander of the 1WG while I was an airman at DM, I've had a few SQ CC and WG CC coins over the time, just never my thing. I have a MX bike toy, toy tacoma, Elsa from Frozen and a Jurassic Park velociraptor at my desk at work.

I got one from Cmdr AMC (most drinks), one CSM 82nd Sust, and one OEF 10-11.
They are sitting in my file with my orders/awards. I keep my "Bucket of bolts runner up" trophy from a UTI car show on the desk. That thing is a paperweight, weapon, and conversation piece all in one.

I was that crusty SNCO...but I don't keep them out on display anymore. I had one of my British coins I picked up in Bosnia grow legs one day, and the rest have been locked up ever since.

This? There would be one in my truck at all time. Just in case an opportunity presented itself. :D

Can't stand thieves. Had the same thing happen to one of my Chiefs at work. You can trust these idiots with a security clearance, but apparently you can't trust them to not steal shit.

Front, Back, I don't know. Tried to make it look like a tire and wheel, outside would be tire tread.
