Okay, so I'm trying to find some fog lights that have a whiter appearance to them. I switched my headlights over to Silverstar Ultra's, so my fogs don't match. Is there any halogen bulb that will give me a close enough match, so the yellowish color won't be so noticeable? Thank you!

Go with an LED bulb for you fog lights. That's what I did to match to color of my LED headlights and my LED daytime running lights. They will be 5K-6K in color. Good White light without the Blue tint. I ordered mine from Amazon and ran them for about 2-3 years with no issues.
Over this past weekend I upgraded to Cali Raised LED fog light pods.

I just put silver star bulbs in my fogs also. They are H11 bulbs.

Do they have to be ordered? Or do they carry them in store?

Wouldn't hurt to check and see if they carry an H11 in an LED. (my 2012 takes a H11 fog light bulb or did.) I got my 1st set of LED turn signal bulbs from Autozone a few years back. LED's will to give you a good color and a way longer life expectancy than the Halogens. And the way Sylvania likes their bulbs.....may even be a little cheaper.

I love the way LED's look, but I here they scatter light into oncoming traffic. I replaced my backup lights with LED's and I love them. Were the fog lights still effective with the LED's? Or were they just for looks?

I agree with the scattering of light with LED headlights. But with the fog lights this is not a problem with LED's. Or it hasn't been my experience. And yes, mine were just as effective if not ever more so than the OEM Halogens.

Okay, I'll see if I can find them in store. Otherwise, Silverstar Ultras it is!

If you really want to blend all the front lighting together in color. Try getting a set of switchback's for your turn signal / daytime running lights to replace the Amber bulbs. But not just any switchback bulb will work with the 2 wire Toyota wiring harness. I tried for 2 years to find bulbs that would work correctly. (Hated the Amber running lights) Being White for daytime running and then turn Amber for turn signals. I finally ran across VLED's. They are plug and play and come with a control module that makes them work correctly. They are also available with plug and play Resistors to stop Hyperflash. No harness cutting needed, all plug and play resistors and all.

My 2006 takes H10, I just installed some Hella Optilux Extreme white XB 42W. They match the Silverstar Ultra's I have installed.
$21 for the pair plus $4 shipping from Rock Auto

I just picked up some Silverstars from OReily's. I'll post some pics once I have them installed.

Installed Sylvania zXe fog and headlight bulbs today. Big difference! Got them at advanced auto and saved 20% by ordering online and picking up in the store.

I'm sure they will look great. BTW does your Tacoma use H10 or 11?
Wally World had the Silver star Ultra's for $21 each. Glad I passed.

VLEDs for the win! Ive been running them in my truck for about 6months now and love them. I highly recommend them if you have the money in your budget

FYI, Mine were not easy to install until I discovered that they had to be pressed in first before twist locking as the rubber gasket was a very tight fit.

There is an LED guy on the forum that makes plug and play LED headlights/taillights/fogs ect. I'll find the link to the page, he even has the DTRL white to Amber turn signal. Prices are good for the quality if you ask me. It is Jumper LED.

I'm not sure to be exact. I just picked the ones that O'Reily's told me based on their system.

What exactly do you mean by its a jumper LED? Do you have to "jumper" something to make them work? Or is that a type of LED like Cree?
