Going to be installing a dakar leaf pack in the rear along with 885s, new OME shocks all around, and a top plate spacer. I'd like to have a leveled look and not have the rear jacked up higher. Question is should i leave the 3rd leaf from the top in and hope it will settle, or just take it out in the first place??

Those leaf packs have 2 overloads. You could just remove the lower overload spring.

Can't say it will make is level. But it will lower the rear end down without changing the progression rate on the springs.

Its really easy, it is just 2 or 3 bolts on the leaf pack that need to be undone and they pop open allowing you to add or remove the leaf.

How much will it lower the rear by removing the said leaf?

Said leaf? Are you refering to the overload leaf, or one of the supporting leafs in the pack?

I removed the third leaf in my set and the truck sits level; it is also a very easy thing to do. I am putting it back in though :) with my campershell it sags and looks to bro'ed out.

^^^This one. How much lift would you get by removing the lower overload? A 1.5" AAL isnt enough to level my truck and I am afraid the full dakar pack will be too high...trying to meet in the middle. I am looking for something around 2.25"
