Please take me off the list. Sorry guys, my wife got me a hard shell for Christmas! (A little sorry-not-sorry... It's a nice shell!)

Has anything happened with this? I am looking at a Bestop and a Softtopper at the moment and will be buying one or the other. I am interested in a Welded Over-the-Top Pack Rack for short bed (or possibly DIY depending on shipping cost). Still curious if it will work with Bestop or just Softtopper as this could affect my decision of which of those to get. Aluminum and bolt together would be absolutely perfect but not totally necessary.

Have you seen the KB Voodoo rack? I was in the same boat, not wanting to deal with having it welded plus the powder coating. And the KB Voodoo looks better imho.

I don't know how it is in the lower 48 but in Alaska I was getting quotes for 3+ hours labor at $100-$120 per hour. That's why I bought a KB Voodoo rack

Softopper compatible only so far nobody can tell us if they work for bestops. SOS Offroad Concepts has a Bestop rack. SOS rocks my bumpers are Eddy's handiwork.

No aluminium on this GB. Waiting on the new rack release from Allpro to see if this GB takes off more.

No updates from AP yet :(

They've been pretty busy though, the new Apex modular racks are live on their website! @allpro is there a version of the apex modular rack that is compatible with a softopper? Can we include any sort of discount on an apex rack in our GB to meet 20 members?

Sorry guys! Our new rack doesn't fit over a Soft Topper. We only have our original Pack Rack that fits over the Soft Topper. We have long bed in stock. We will need to order material for the short bed. Let me know how we can help you!

Thanks Tracy! Do you think it's possible to include the new apex racks in this GB and open it up so more members are interested? I imagine a small portion of folks want the softopper pack rack but I know others want their hands on that new awesome apex rack.

I'm really liking the modular apex rack too. Today I was looking into how to make custom canvas to make a soft top enclosure around that rack and have the roof basket on top for additional badassery.

That sounds nice man. Canvas can be pricey.
I'm trying to work out heights so my canoe can sit wedged around the ladder for a RTT. Think it will be perfect. Hope it will be

We can include the modular rack in the group buy. We have the 16" in stock right now.

AllPro FTW! Thanks Tracy. I'll spread the word that the 16" modular rack will be part of our 20 member 20% GB. Will shipping be the same deal for the modular racks as it will be for the weld yourself over topper kits?

I've updated the OP. Guys, let's get the word out. @allpro please review the updates I've made and let me know if I'm missing something or need to change any prices/discounts.
