:)Today I decided I wanted to spray my trd off road rims black. Thanks to all the tips and pics members here have posted here on TW made it really easy. The Q cards make it so simple. I got 2 done today before alot of people started coming home into my parkade, I didnt want to be spray painting with all the cars coming in, so I will do the other 2 tomorrow.
Used Krylon satin black 1 can did 2 wheels and 2 centre caps.
Heres a couple pics I will post more when all 4 are finished.:)
Im pretty happy how they turned out.

Tsenekos, did you have to sand it down or buff it up or anything (the wheels)? Or did you just clean it and sprayed it right on?

First I scrubbed them down with a 3m green pad and spray nine degreaser, then sanded them with another 3m green pad then sprayed them down with brake cleaner and wiped them down again then 3 light coats of satin black (finish is betwwen flat and semi-gloss):)

mine have been black since july, they are covered with salt as we speak, and have been several times this winter. have only found 1 very tiny chip and that was only cause i was really looking, the test will be when i get new tires, im not expecting them to hold up to that
