    Hello,

I have a 2003 toyota tacoma pre runner and i was looking to see which push bar would be the best quality or recommended.

I don't want the small ones that cover just the mid section , i want mine to cover the headlights and almost all of the front.

Any recommendations for models and brands? Also how hard is it to install?

My budget would be preferably under $800.00

A new tube bumper (plate if that is your taste) . Brush guards are what you are referring to and do nothing for your truck to protect it (other than from a bush lol)

Then what is the point of having one? I wanted to install one for impact

Don't have too long with my truck and 2 bastards already rear ended the front while the truck was parked! I would imagine it would offer some sort of protection against backing up at ~10 mph?

And we all know what most people do when they hit a car and no one witnesses, so i fixed the damage for the first hit but the 2nd hit is still there.

It is very frustrating taking care of your vehicle and having a random person dent it or rear end it because they miscalculate or are just plain careless

They are not made for impact, if you want impact protection get a new bumper.

I've been happy with my ARB front bumper. It offers excellent coverage, bolts to the stock skid, can be installed without any welding, allows the airbag system to still function correctly, holds a winch, basically checked all my boxes.

I ordered mine from 4wheelparts when they had a free shipping promo or you could have it shipped to their store.

That said it is considerably heavier than a stock bumper - 100lb vs approx 30lb for stock parts removed - and you will likely have to make adjustments to you front end suspension to compensate for the additional 70lb of weight. Either 5100 Bilstein's or new coilovers with heavier springs like OME or Eibach's.
