Good story Moose, I can almost see it

My Doritos & Coke were part of my late night snack. On Saturday nights I would stay up late and watch British TV on PBS (I think it was PBS or some weird side channel)
The lineup was Saturday Nite Live (regular TV)
Monty Python - 2 episodes back to back
Ernie Kovacks - Odd show that I never could figure out
The Goodies - Still love that crazy old show

Food was a Polish Kielbasa sandwich on rye. Peel the skin off 4 inches of Kielbasa and cut into thick medallions. Extra mayo, so you have to push the meat into the sandwich. A little mustard, garnish with Doritos. I liked my Coke really cold, so cold it makes you hiccup with the first gulp. Yup, happy memories.

Not as bad as they said it would be. We had about 1/4 inch covering everything Saturday morning but melted by 10am. Just a frozen mist Sunday morning, and it rained all night last night and today. But was only frozen on the driveway this morning, the blacktop roads were in good shape and temperature has been above freezing.

Glad it didn't hit you too hard. Sounds like it was pretty rough north and west of you.

Just think, You have to be as old as us to remember Coke becoming new coke to try and fool us into thinking Coke Classic was the old coke.

Shoulda skipped on the 2nd fish taco. From me not having sodium, it doesn't take much to make my ears ring and it's keeping me awake.

Not much problem with Sodium, but replaced salt years ago with black Hawaiian salt and pink mineral salt. Boiler maker ears suck though, still hear the pounding of steam hammers, steam flow and turbines. Although tonight it is the crashing of trees around my house as the ice is breaking the branches. Beats waking up in a stainless steel cow trough filled with ice cubes and a thermometer sticking out of every orifice of your body and medics screaming about getting your body core temp below 110 to prevent brain damage. Too late according to my Ex LOL.

Dogs aren't sure what to make of the ice but are intelligent creatures and soon learn why I keep some snow on the drive when this is supposed to happen. They quickly learn how to walk the edges. Weather guesses were wrong and now changed precipitation stopping in a couple of hours instead of midnight tomorrow, or actually now today. Hope they are right this time.

Finland in the poll?! I like Finland. One of the few places on the North Shore of Lake Superior that has food and gas. Once you head North far enough anyhow. City folks or those that don't like to leave pavement may not want to visit.

:sorry: Martin ... Try turning on a fan for background noise. Works some for me when it gets bad.

    :fistbump:

Ice :puke: Stay safe Mike ... :fingerscrossed: they got it right and you catch a break. Not literally of course...pull out the crampons ;)
