Who have you guys gone through for re gears? Most just buy complete clams from ecgs and install themselves? Need to get some pricing together also how does the clamshell work with the rear locker?

e-locker or sport? its a third not a clam. rear is super eaasy. order a complete send in yours when you swap it out. shipping comes out of your core charge.

4wp (I know) quoted me $2688 OTD. Master rebuild kits and 5 year warranty. G2 R & P's. Drop the truck off, pick it up 2 days later. Drop it back off at 500 miles for the fluid change.

There are many reasons I'm wary of this, but I may be the Guinea pig here and do it.

E-locker. I'm very unfamiliar with the lingo lol I'm use to my Dana axles from the jeep which were quite different when i locked them.

So rear I just order a 4.88 set up from ecgs with e locker pay the core and once I install theirs I send them my set up with my old e locker and get my core back?

I bought gears and rebuild kits from ecgs for about $1200 I think. Local gear place charged me $1000 to drop off and pick up done. I'll be changing the oil after break in, so another $60 or so for oil and a bit of my time. You are probably to far away, but I had rear end specialists in Santa Clara do mine.

when i called around town that's about the price they quoted me with me supplying the locker. so 3500 is about what they would charge with them supplying the locker. I saved about $800 to a $1000 by doing the labor.
