Enough to make it a lot of fun!
I haven't calculated it since I moved to steamboat but I was averaging 17-19. My last trip from moab to erie I got 20.

Damn!! How the hell do you do that?! I've got a 2.5" lift with 285/75/16's so I've heard I need to add a little bit since my speedo hasn't been corrected. But still...if I get in the 17's I'm happy and have to baby the throttle, staying under 2500 rpms!

You're not getting to much more in the diffrence. With the 35's im going around 10% faster then what the speedo says. So 70 is really 77mph and 40 is really 44 mph....

I have just found the speeds the truck likes and I use an ultra gauge to monitor my mpg. Honestly I am surprised I get that mpg considering I am all armored up too.

I get 18-20 on average when 'local' (and that includes driving to Denver on I25). It drops to as little as 14-15 when I'm a) at altitude (like trails around Silverton) or b) driving back to IN in the winter with the shitty gas on the way made even shittier by winter blending. Interestingly it didn't do that the first year, was getting 18-19. Year after that, I had like one tank go to 16. Since then more and more of the 4-5 tanks it takes to get back have gotten that bad, and they all were this year. I imagine weather is a factor too.

BTW the sticker says 18 city 21 highway.

Stock reads a bit slow. When I had 265/75s, it was dead on. I'm on 235/85s right now and it's been close enough to not really be noticeable, but it is supposedly fast.

I was bombing down the backroads when I came sliding around and saw him in the ditch. He had been there for two hours, did an awesome job digging. The picture doesnt show the angle or depth but there was zero chance he was going to be able to drive out with the highway tires on it no matter how far he dug.

Snatched off a tree across the street from him to pull him sideways out of the ditch. No front recovery points, rear recovery from the hitch receiver.

He was back there taking pictures, no cell phone (there is service there). He was about to call it quits and walk out to 6th.
