Anyone running dust lights with their toppers? Trying to figure out how to fab something up. The only options I can see are a CB style bracket above the taillights or mounting something on a roof rack. Just curious to see what people are using.

Has anyone used an off-model softopper? I found one nearby that is for a 2015 Ram Quad Cab (6 foot bed). Softopper lists it as a 75-76 inch bed, while the Tacoma is a 73 inch according to their website. Anyone tried this?

If you go to their website, you can cross reference what trucks use the same soft topper.

I was on their site thats where I got the measurements, but I didn't see a cross-reference option. Did you just make assumptions based on the quoted bed lengths? The Ram cover costs $30 more so I'm assuming that value goes somewhere.

Santa brought me an air mattress so I went out to Anza Borrego State Park to sleep under the Bestop for the 1st time. 40* is cold no matter what you're sleeping in, but it worked great! Bonus: left my bed set up while I wheeled & it kept out 99% of the trail dust!

Haha I know, I thought that as I posted it. That's pretty cold for us in LA, it's all relative!

I'm going to have to agree w rcsteele, black with a tan top is gonna look damn nice!

I haven't dyed one myself, but I almost bought a tan softopper that had been dyed black. There was a guy in Maine selling it on this forum. If you search dye maine softopper I'm sure it'll come right up.

Got any examples on a 3rd gen DCLB? I found one on a ACOR, but I am just a little skeptical.

It's also for a 2nd gen, and I guess there are slight height differences?
