So on a brighter, "darker" note. Put my RTT on tonight. Got dark and not much light to see it. I still want to check out the annex and all, so I'll get better pictures then.

I should probably point out that @stronghammer took the easy trail when I took the hard trail at Chocoloco, when I had my OME lift.

    :stirthepot:

I'm afraid to ask how you know that. :goingcrazy:

liked your earlier post about your 5100's. I have the aforementioned mortgage and wife + 2 girls. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to get when I can get it. someone on this thread, awhile ago and I cant remember who, was complaining about their ome setup. I don't even remember what, but had me worried about what I should get. Ill figure it out I'm sure. Id like to thank all of you though, for teaching me shit just through reading this thread. and by teaching me I mean making me more confused.

that's simply a matter of driver...I'm at a whopping like 5 times I've actually wheeled this truck and I'm still learning it. My old '89 though I would've probably driven down the grand canyon lol. Also...I wasn't a big fan of Choccolocco because I get scared of heights, no lie...I don't like all the crazy up hill/down hill trails. I like difficult, but flat lol

I think having a 4x4 with lockers will be important for driving in the mountains and snow but the more I look at Jeep LJ builds the more I want one. This is what I want.

I like, but 4 doors are much more practical.

My daughter wants a Jeep, so I have 4 years to find the right one and mod it to my liking.

Having owned both, a truck is more useful in the long run.

I have 2 doors now lol and I agree having the bed is useful but I put that camper top on the back of it and haven't needed a real "truck" in a long time. The last time I needed a bigger truck was when I owned a 20ft gator trax duck boat and needed to tow it around. My Taco, since it's an access cab and with the camper top on the back is basically a SUV as is. That Jeep LJ with the longer wheel base can tow almost the same as my taco and IF I find myself needing extra room for overlanding.... well that's just an excuse to build an adventure trailer. Which I'd almost rather have so when I got to parks and stuff I can leave it in a camping spot and go wheeling around.
