    Did anyone figure out a better way to mount the horn and the sensor? I went to do it today, but was worried about the sensor so I just put it all back...

    You have to pull the wire for the horn out of the black wire wrap and than you can leave the sensor where its at and than move the horns where ever you want.

    nice job. i just finished my satoshi and yeah those horns are a sore thumb. i wanted to move them but after i detached them i realized those wires have no leeway do you need to splice the wires or is there extra wire stuffed inside there?

    There is enough wire you just have to work it out of the black wrap. There are a few zip ties you have to take off and than you can get all the wire out.

    Sweet, I moved mine down quite a long time ago when I got my grillcraft. I don't know if the horns are vibrating off of something where I moved them (lower grill), or if its because I dropped one a few inches, but they sound wierd now! lol

    Just did mine today as well with no problem..Just cut a few tie straps and carefully seperate the horn wires from the temperature sensor wire and bolt behind the battery. The temperature sensor is where it was originaly and my horns are not the ugly eyesore behind the grillcraft...

    do any of you have pictures of which wires, coming out of the firewall, are the ones for the horn when relocated back towards the windshield?

    i did this almost right when i got the truck because of my grill craft and lights. but now i just put in a fog horn i got for free and it makes people move out of the way they think its a semi

    Has anybody though of extending the horn wire and relocating the horns to the inside of the bumper?



    I would like to have one horn on the left side and one on the right... both facing downward.
