That was an interesting game last night. I think the Sens came out flat but definitely outplayed the leafs for the most part of the 2nd and 3rd. Just a case of bad bounces and unlucky plays, coupled with some great tending by your McEl to shut the door. Cant wait for Sens vs Leafs again Saturday!

screw fowler, I would keep JVR. Wild is who I would go after in the summer because they have obviously too many dmen and will need to either trade one or lose one. They also have a solid team but no picks, they have been trading them for years now. So with the picks and prospects we have added I think they could easily make a deal. I would love Brodin

That was a gross game of hockey. Funny how they think more goals makes a better game

Are you talking about Pens/Caps? If so, I agree. I hated it. On XM this morning, they were talking about how entertaining it was. I hate games like that. I mean, I'm not all about always having a 1-0 defensive struggle, by any means either. But I hate games that are as wide open as a pick-up game.

As far as the Pens, I'm concerned how horrible they have been defensively, lately. It's neither goaltender at fault, either. As a whole, they just aren't tight and making way too many mistakes. Plus, I feel like the shaky defensive play, combined with flip-flopping the goalies, is just bad for the team. Maybe I'm old school but I like running a #1 guy, let him (and the team) settle in, then spot-start your #2 as you feel the need.

The only thing that got my attention was the fact that the Caps gave up 5 ugly goals in the 2nd after a commanding lead. As for the entertainment value deal it was kind of interesting to watch...No Defense, no Offense, no goal tending and really no good calls or should I say the lack of calls for either side.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Do you feel that was or was not goalie interference? (Regardless of team affiliation)

Agree. I don't think 72 went into the net on purpose (looked like he fell on the defensemen's stick, if I remember correctly) but an argument could be made that he impeded the goaltender's ability to make the save, as he slid into the crease.
