Are the universities really that much better up there? I despise ours here, its all a scam to profit off people and keep them in debt and thus the lower class forever. But thats another story.

I wouldn't know, I went to trades school to become a technician. My girlfriend is the one going to University for statistics or something. Two of the schools up here are rated pretty well (Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia) but idk how it really is as a student

U of T and McGill and UBC are good. But just as on par with our Stanford, university of michigan, UT Austin, berkeley ...

After 9/11 getting student visa to USA has been harder thus substantial money + foreign students have instead gone to Canada and Australia ... instead of USA

I told my little brothers a trade is the way to go. No one knows how to do anything with their hands anymore. That or a medical field like my parents medical billing business, which if I was smart I'd take over, but have dreams of PT after my AD service.

Medical billing is great actually. My brother is a ID Doc in Atlanta. Him and his partners 3 years ago decided to bring back billing in house. Now they employ 19 poor black people who do it under their supervision and their profits have soared ...

Yeah my girlfriend is American, too...she moved up here to go to school here. International students pay out of their assholes though, she said her tuition is close to what she'd be paying at Pittsburgh

Yup foreign students pay a lot everywhere. Few I know are getting 100k a year from home . 60k for school. 40k for apartment and Range Rover lease. After 4 years they go back home and become MAnaging director of dads company. While here, party, sex, travel

I'll admit sometimes I'm a little envious. Then I remember I'm not a little bitch that leeches off my parent's hard work and I'm actually a productive member of society. Then I crack open a beer and smile to myself

Yep, never handed anything, parents could have, they didnt, I worked since I was 15, had to pay my dad for rides to work bagging groceries. lol. I've struggled to find my place in the world a bit, but learned a lot and wouldn't trade it for anything, makes me who I am.

I have a 2016 Tacoma trd sport and my wife has a 2015 sr5 4Runner. Even she prefers my tacomas ride and comfort level to her runner. But on the other hand the runner doesn't stutter trying to find the correct gear like this new Tacoma motor seems to. So for us it's a toss up as to which is a better vehicle. Both are modded the exact same 3" lift with 33" tires so mods make no change. Only thing I've considered is removing the crap sr5 shocks on the runner and replacing them with adjustable billsteins.
