    I tried that months ago and didn't get any response! Headed to Phx next weekend and hoping to swap my skewp hood for a non as there are 2-3 guys looking to trade but if it doesn't come together I'm also interested in a swap and may be in Visalia in early April.

    Was in the same pot a couple months ago. Had to buy a red shell and repaint it for a total cost near $750. It may be a cheaper route if you can't find a color matched shell.


    Edit (To get back on track): Had a snow day in Virginia last week. Had a little bit of fun!

    I might have to go this route too. It seems decent priced used Truck Shells are impossible to find!

    I found a good deal on a blue one locally and called a few shops to see about a color match and they either wouldn't do it or said it would cost the same as buying a new shell.

    ...now if there was a good DIY method that worked....

    $750 total. Bought the cap from a guy who just purchased a 2015 Red TRD Sport who didn't need the cap that came with the truck. Which then allowed me to buy it for $450 just to get it off his hands. Had a local guy repaint it for $300.

    That's cheap for a paint job. Wish I could find that here....the cheapest i could find was like $750, and that didn't include the cost of the cap!

    Lucky enough I knew the guy for a couple years. However, the paint did bubble up in the front right corner due to the moisture underneath the tarp when I store it. Not a big deal to me

    Nope, sorry. Was just making a point that buying a non-color matched shell and repainting may be an easier and cheaper route than to try to find a color matched one.
